What? WHY? It’s called HISTORY. I didn’t get the drift that they were agreeing with the statement regardless of who said it.
Besides, whomever, has been proved wrong about our nation being able to “hold together”. In spite of our racial and cultural problems, we have prevailed.
Yet, we are back on a downward spiral, not because of “race”, but “culture” as the article was pointing out about Mexican culture.
I’m not about silencing opinion. Much can be learned, even from, maybe especially from, those we greatly oppose or despise.
That’s why a book like “ Rise and Fall of the Third Reich” should be read/quoted and not BURNED, actually or symbolically.
By the way, my mother and family lived under the Nazi occupation of Paris. In constant fear of snipers. Having to risk being arrested every day trading on the black market in order to eat.
My uncle was taken to Germany to work in Nazi war machine factories, in constant fear of being killed by the Nazis or bombed by the Allies.
I’m no fan of Hitler.
