Statement from California Senate Leader on U.S. Attorney General Request
California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León ^ | April 21, 2017 | California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León

Posted on 04/21/2017 4:43:17 PM PDT by mdittmar

SACRAMENTO- California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León (D- Los Angeles), released the following statement responding to letters sent by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Session to the state of California, and other cities and counties, regarding compliance with immigration law enforcement. Attached is a recent letter from legal counsel for the California State Legislature on the same matter.

“It has become abundantly clear that Attorney General Sessions and the Trump Administration are basing their law enforcement policies on principles of white supremacy – not American values. Their constant and systematic targeting of diverse cities and states goes beyond constitutional norms and will be challenged at every level.”

Unfortunately I can tell you De Leons views represent the majority of people here in California, even the whites. Trump is hated here.

Wait...what? So now they're trying to pretend that AMERICAN immigration laws don't reflect AMERICAN values? And last time I checked, there are a lot of white foreigners who are here illegally. Yes, there are more non-white illegals, but whose fault is that, California? When you lay out the welcome mat for every criminal from Mexico and Central America, you're the ones skewing the racial demographics of illegal aliens.

“Cut em off and start jailing politicians.”

Oh yes. They are objectively breaking exisitng Federal law and MUST be prosecuted and they will not stop until multiple offenders go to jail.

there is NOTHING ATTACHED....
....JUST A BLANK PAGE BELOW THE INTRODUCTORY TWO PARAGRAPHS.

Where is the opinion from the State Senate’s attorney.

Notice that is not an opinion from the California Attorney General.

Just trying to follow the original post.

Where is the letter from the legislature's legal counsel.

I assume this counsel is the august Eric Holder, right?

You are too soft. The only way they will be “driven from office” is when they are ARRESTED for obstruction of justice, failure to enforce federal law, and harboring felons.

Arrested is the sound I want to hear, like Hussein Obama when he said the most beautiful sound he ever heard is the Muslim call to prayer.

The most beautiful sound we can hear is when a real judge begins sentencing for this lawless clown and the many others who need prison to make them understand who is in charge.

WE THE PEOPLE ARE IN CHARGE, not this criminal.

Probably something just the opposite, by George Wallace, back in the day. That didn’t work out too well for him.

So latinos conducting ethnic intimidation cleansing against blacks in Los Angeles is okay ? And Indian Motel owners in Los Angeles denying rooms to single black women is okay ? And Asian communities refusing to rent to blacks is fine ? That happens every day in LA.
