I was expecting much the same. I thought Mitt would have donated or authorized that expenditure, but indirectly, through the church organization. If I still wasn’t angry at Evan for trying to sabotage Trump, I would feel sorry for him.
That is an awful lot of money for somebody who’s not rich.
One would think Evan would have made some kind of contingency plan to retire the debt in the (likely) event that he would not be successful. Maybe he really thought he stood a chance on being elected.
I think Mike Huckabee also still owes quite a bit from his campaign of 2012.
Maybe it’s like the average Student Loan, that is often allowed , even expected to become delinquent or never fully repaid.
