Precisely- Cruz is not wrong on this- the country elected trump sure- but the fact that a felon and proven liar and criminal like hillary, who said ‘what difference does it make’ over the deaths of 4 Americans, came as close as they did is very troubling- She was the worst candidate ever practically, but still managed to come somewhat close- That does not speak well to the state of this country-

Exactly- for the reason stated above- The gimmedat society is becoming actually violent these days if they don’t get their way- We’re seeing it play out all across the country- all these damned ‘safe zones’ and ‘safe rooms’ and suppression of free speech on campuses etc- There’s a damned tinderbox brewing-
We got lucky this time that 1: More republicans went out and voted this election and 2: independents, who are at least a little bit rational, switched from voting liberal hoping that Trump can actually help their bottom line by bringing back jobs and prosperity to America- but if things don’t turn around rapidly and dramatically, they will switch back to voting liberal in a heartbeat-
Like you say- We had better not underestimate this country’s inability to vote correctly - and we had better hope Trump turns this country around dramatically enough that he keeps the independents that switched their votes for him-
IF Trump can create better environments for inner city slum areas, He might just win over the black vote- and that would be huge for the party- Republicans have never been able to win them over- Let’s hope Trump can

Yup.
Cruz can be annoying but is an absolute brawler. That’s why he and Trump were destined to clash, and why he could not bring himself to kiss Trump’s ring at the convention. But the Trump movement and hence America needs him.
On policy matters, his only flaw in my opinion is he still suffers from the “Free Trade” con game. Not being a businessman, but a mere lawyer, it is harder for him to understand the economics issues. (And yes, I know he has been wobbly on immigration, but am giving him benefit of doubt that he has come around.)
I agree that Pocahontas might be tough to beat if the Republican Congress thwarts Trump. Yes, she is deeply flawed; but, she will get 100% of the Bernie voters and a big chunk of the Corruption’s. They couldn’t care less about her lying, her socialism and her shrill mannerisms.

Trump won Ohio and Iowa by nearly double digits.
She had twice as much money and some of the GOP state organizations wouldn't back Trump. Trump won't have those disadvantages in 2020.
And, Trump was likely the only GOP candidate that could have won, taking states no other Republican would have -- MI, PA and WI.

Nevada is going to finally investigate the number of illegals who voted. And having lived in SoCal until 2015, I can assure you, plenty of illegals voted in California.
If there were to be an honest audit of Los Angeles, Clark and Cook Counties, I’d wager President Trump’s three million votes would turn up.

Four years of Trump would be far better than 8 years of Hillary, which is what we would have had if Cruz had been the nominee.

Ryan hasn’t been a disappointment to me... I had pretty high regard for him as the VP candidate. Since then, expectations have been pretty low..
And he has ordered the wall built - who will be at fault if it doesn't get built (GOPe and other career politicians....).

Not bizarre at all if you understand the political paradigm of this century and stop thinking in terms of the paradigm of the 20th century. If you still think in the Liberal-Conservative mindset, then you believe in the eventual failure of the middle class, which is the group most vulnerable to globalism. Cruz is as out of touch with the working people of America as Elizabeth Warren is.
