IMHO, there was no ‘right’ choice for this couple.

There were only a set of alternatives to consider, and I think they made the best choice, as hard as it was.

Very obvious in the story that the couple looked upon this child as their loving baby and not as something to discard...

They held and loved their child for a moment and gave the little girl their love and hearts...

More than many babies get at Planned parenthood....

I agree.

A Christian principle about giving is that God cannot put anything into a clenched fist, but an open and willing hand He can fill.

No one EVER knows how they'll respond in many situations until they get there .... let's remember that.
