What, there are no participation trophies when applying for a job?
I have read over and over how Millennials think they will get a great job right out of college and thus didn’t PLAN otherwise.
They also seem to have a problem dealing with the hand they played and changing their own circumstances.
Personally I had very little help directing me into a career. Much is my own fault, the fault of lousy parents, and the education system. Now, here in BC, the major focus IS on career transition, so there is much less excuse for the new generation.
