From the Article - "After getting a bachelor's and master's degree, 27-year-old Yvonne Juris also didn't expect to be unemployed and living with her parents."

The article never does say what she has her degrees in. Obviously, it's something that she can't really use, like Women's Gender Studies or Queer Literature Theory or some such ...

I noticed that as well. It’s a pretty common refrain in articles like this. They always say so-in-so has X number of degrees BUT ‘can’t get a job’. They never say what the degrees are in.

Yes, I wanted that information from the article about the 21 year old man, too.

I can't find what "degrees" these two have.

Are they valuable? In demand fields?

Or a BA or fgs a MASTERS in something worthless?

What will you do with a bachelors in Poli-Sci?

In college, the only people I knew who got Poli-sci degrees went to law school.

Even in the 80s it would have been useless by itself.

Really, what paying "job" could you even expect to get?
