If you’re a post-grad at the University of California you’ll be “represented” by the UAW (that’s right, the United Auto Workers). You don’t get a choice in the matter, that’s between the university and the union. In addition you’ll get an unethical high-pressure pitch to take the next step and join the union.

Will they wear vagina hats recently popularized in libtard marches to identify them as the pussies that they are?

While I agree with the feds being the environment protection police in principle, it remains that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to regulate, tax and spend in the name of environmental protections.

So the feds policing the environment remains unconstitutional imo.

“Of all the attacks on our civil society, the attacks on evidence-based science pose perhaps the greatest existential threat.”

And so we are given further PROOF that Liberalism is a mental disorder.

“Scientists have long held the view that with enough data and evidence we will be able to convince skeptics that climate change is real, that humans are responsible and that immediate action must be taken. It is increasingly clear that this approach has not worked.”

That is the very definition of pseudo-science. One can accumulate any amount of data supporting, virtually, any theory. The thing that gives science its strength is that only one conter-example is enough to sink the theory. Science *is* skepticism.

“Of all the attacks on our civil society, the attacks on evidence-based science pose perhaps the greatest existential threat.”

By “attacks” they mean asking to see some real evidence.

Before these guys continue to look for funding to prove what they claim is already settled science (think about that for a minute), shouldn’t they prove the THEORY of Evolution is real?

The THEORY of evolution is quite real, as are the evolutionary processes it describes.

In science, the word "theory" does not mean "guess" or "supposition" as it does in ordinary, non-scientific language. Rather, "theory" refers to a conceptual framework that ties together the known facts on a subject and provides a basis to form testable hypotheses (which are educated guesses) about further facts which are not yet known.

For example, the theory of evolution tells me that because two species had a common ancestor millions of years ago, their genes are very similar but not exactly the same because they have been evolving separately. Therefore, if I know that gene RING exists in species A, I can hypothesize that it exists also in species B. Then I can do the experiments to look for it (and will probably find it).
