I’m a cynic, but pragmatic. Unfortunately, the research resulting from the book I’m writing demonstrates time & again that we as a species react best to extremes.
This, the true battle is against those forces which serve to mold public opinion (take your pick) and the reality that it must get worse before it will get better.
As I have written here prior, this includes facing the reality that our own family members, neighbors and leaders are the enemy...truly, given the state we’re in, reinforcing the implausible with confirmation bias on a scale almost unprecedented in human history.
It’s a reality most are incapable of facing until we descend into the abyss. Sadly, crossing the Rubicon is insufficient...
