Mark Levin vs. Bill O'Reilly
"And I'm not talking to some of you backbenchers, and you know who I mean," said Levin. "These blowhards. You get arrogant, stupid people who get paid a lot of money to be on radio and TV to be arrogant and stupid. And one of them, one of them is on the Fox News Channel, my favorite cable channel. And he has a fledgling radio show that has no ratings, and he'll be off radio soon because he's a failure. It's the non-factor: Bill O'Reilly.
"And he is no conservative," said Levin. "He's another mainstream, moron, phony journalist. That's what he is. And, oh, jealous like hell of Rush Limbaugh. Did you notice that? The cigar and the airplane? Let me tell you something else, jerk. You can't hold a candle to him." Your ratings suck."

I agree that RUSH would be the ultimate replacement.
Rush wouldn’t fit into that format. Besides, he’d have to relocate and take a pay cut.
I remember BOR’s show was on a CBS owned radio syndicator, and a CBS financial publication warned advertisers that Limbaugh’s drug problems were insurmountable to his audience, and they should look to BOR to attract the mass defections.
Except for the ratings part I have to agree,
I stopped watching BOR over 10 years ago.
Levin calling somebody arrogant and stupid. Talk about lack of insight. LOL!
He'd have his own format, not the present one. He'd do it from Florida. He'd be huge. BOR made close to 30 million, that's what RUSH makes, or thereabouts. RUSH could scale back radio to 2 hours and do the hour of TV. He'd make over 50 million.

When Rush tried TV, I liked his format. Way ahead of it’s time for the local liberal stations too handle, most often they ran it in overnight dead air hours.
It must be nice to be so perfect.
Once again, Levin tells the unvarnished truth in a way no one else will.

Rush will do nothing but sit on his ass and talk, play golf, and smoke cigars. And fly in his airplane to do the above. Why should he do anything else?
