..."when you have a dangerous stand-off with a nuclear-armed adversary, of course, you would like to think that within our government we have stability, methodical planning, every step is very calculated,”

That was the snow job that BO had going with them. He convinced them that his do nothing to cause anything to be resolved approach was himself being stable, methodical, and calculating, and oh so intellectual. They believed, even the world was becoming a complete disaster. He did many things to bring about much destruction, but they were so enamored with his "cool" that they were blind to reality.

Syria was Obama’s. He set it up, built the Tomahawk's and all Trump did was press the fire button that Obama couldn't find.

MSNBC is still around???

Anyhow, how are they relevant?

It’s not as if Trump is going to listen to the delusional and irrational and irrelevant left-wing nutjobs.

And, hey, didn’t Trump just show the lefties how it’s done with NK? I guess they didn’t want to have their blowhard former president be shown how things are done.

It’s good to finally have a president who is being listened to and respected around the world. No more permanently apologizing stooge as president.

I don’t really find any ‘news’ on the television now, that isn’t just partisan commentary.

(And that goes for ‘Faux’, as well.)

You missed no substance; but it’s often useful to read, to learn where the lemmings are headed.

Thought this latest meme sounded familiar.

(Pics from Phil Collins Land of Confusion music video)

It was back in the 80's and Ron Reagan had just been elected. What was the Democrat's meme? That RR was a rank amateur at foreign policy. A madman. A war hawk that would envelop the world in nuclear flame, either deliberately or through ineptitude.

Starting to sound familiar?

Ron not only didn't ruin the world, he transformed it. The hostages came back from Iran and the Berlin wall came down. The Soviets Union was bankrupt and no longer a union as Eastern European states broke away from it. Communism was in full retreat, worldwide.

Khadaffi was hiding in his palace, no longer threatening anyone. The Cuban army was swimming back home from Granada, defeated.

Consumer confidence had shaken off the Carter Malaise and the economy soared. The USA was feared and respected just about everywhere in the world.

Trump is now getting the same treatment Reagan did at first. Will he prove his detractors wrong and rise to greatness like Reagan did? Time will tell.

Crowley is a reptile with a long bio. E.g. New York times article from 2006:

“Next,” Michael Crichton’s new novel about the perils of biotechnology, has not proved as polarizing as his previous thriller, “State of Fear,” which dismisses global warming. But one of the new book’s minor characters — Mick Crowley, a Washington political columnist who rapes a baby — may be a literary dagger aimed at Michael Crowley, a Washington political reporter who wrote an unflattering article about Mr. Crichton this year.

Be careful, MSNBC. DJT has MOABs and isn’t afraid to use them.
