Nova Scotia is way to far north to be a good place to launch satellites. Closer to the equator, less energy is needed to get into orbit since it is possible to take advantage of the earth’s angular velocity.

These guys would only launch into polar orbit, which is covered by launches from other places...

Precisely. It was no accident that our space center is in Florida. And the Euros have theirs in French Guiana.

Those Nova Scotians need to get back to growing cucumbers in green houses.
