Four people were killed and 16 others hurt in a series of shootings that plagued Philadelphia over the warm Easter holiday weekend.
"Summertime is coming, warm weather today, we get shootings that peak and valley during the warm weather," Philadelphia police Capt. Jamill Taylor said early Sunday at the scene of a homicide at 62nd Street and Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.

It always seems strange how we dance around this topic. We can say it was a warm weekend, and we can say that shootings increase with warm weather. Law enforcement people have noted such trends and come to expect it in their work.
But we can never say who is most likely to be an offender, or a victim, or what neighborhoods in our cities tend to suffer from these shootings.

Teens? Seems using the word Detroit, philadelphia, baltimore, chicago etc is now a euphemism for “Teen”. Of course the word “brawl” is now the official plural for “Teen”
Silly, it’s only news when a white person shoots at blacks. When blacks attack anyone with anything, apparently it’s business as usual.

They’re having a friendly shooting competition with Chicago. I’m a fan of shooting sports, myself, not this type of competition, but to each there own I guess.
