Anyone think Europe has the faith necessary to defeat the Muslims like they did in 1683?
This is one example (from Gary Potter (in “Saint Mary of Victory – The Historical Role of Our Lady in the Armed Defense of the Faith”):
“When it became known that no fewer than 300,000 Turks were advancing on the imperial capital, Pope Innocent ordered that rosaries be recited in the religious houses and churches of Rome. The same prayers of supplication were offered throughout the Empire.”
As they say, “There are no atheists in foxholes.” When Europe finds themselves staring into the abyss, they’ll find religion.
