“Turkey turns from the West”
Rubbish.
Turkey has never been part of the West.
“Democratic” Turkey has been the biggest case of Taqqiya ever foisted on mankind.
Anti-communist and part of NATO -- that was certainly "Western" in the Cold War.
But in any case, a country could still be "turned towards the West" without being "part of the West."
If they've turned away from the West, that will become clear soon enough.
