No. He made it a police situation. The way I see it he contributed to his injuries. No Storm Trooper came on the flight looking for Asians to abuse. He wanted the police. He got the police treatment. He resisted being taken off the flight. He could have handled this completely differently. I guess he wanted the attention. He got it. There’s something wrong with him. I hope they did a drug test on him.
I'd like a drug test on the roid raging cops that decided tasing and beating an elderly man unconscious that wasn't a danger was in order. And leaving him unconscious and unattended in the jetway because he was such a threat.
But you're a power bottom for the police...
Actually, he AGREED TO BE DRAGGED—I saw a video on tv where he said-”you can drag me but I am staying right here”———case closed
RE: If someone insisted that I move from their private property (a hotel, a restaurant, an airplane) I would get out.
Then United doesn’t have to apologize, all the CEO needed to do is tell the world ( and all potential passengers ) -— THIS IS OUR PROPERTY AND WE DO WITH IT AS WE PLEASE.
Why didn’t they do it?
Because that's not what the law says and United would be sued out of existence and Munoz would be on the cover of business textbooks for decades with courses dedicated to don't do what he did.
But really, did you bow up a bit when you typed that? Maybe puff your chest out? Flex?
You can tell us, we won't think any less of you. Chest bump with an imaginary friend?
“Because this is what is going to happen to people who have shares in UAL. Theyre going to get hosed.”
Maybe shareholders will suffer, probably only for awhile. Earnings may suffer (probably not). Mangement have been made uncomfortable. Ultimately United will be punished and will be more polite.
I think that guy was beat up a little too much but he never should have resisted the authorities. He should have done his fighting outside the plane.
Exactly. If an airline has screwed me over on my travel plans, odds are good that I will not fly that airline again. So it really ends up costing the airline NOTHING when the voucher is never used.
Delta broke the wheels off my suitcase, were hardly apologetic at all, and finally gave me a $50 voucher. Never used it because Delta had screwed me over once.
