That’s not the same man. The guy with the criminal history was another Vietnamese-American with the same first and last names, but a different middle name.
In other words, United set itself up for yet another lawsuit.
As far as I can tell, this David Dao is the same one who has the criminal record.
I have found no article stating he is not same person.
