Dumbocrats are forced to think so to save their battered egos, but Estes' commanding win is no fluke.

It's not like Estes tried to hide his connections to Trump and the ever-gracious Pence. Trump and Pence both actively and visibly campaigned for Estes.

The battered Dumbos---paranoid for a win--- hoped to make the race a referendum on Trump.

=================================================

(HAT TIP Dilbert San Diego) Republicans won comfortable 2009 victories in Obama's first year ---- NJ and Va governors---yet, nobody in the media was harping that somehow those winning elections were a referenda on just-elected Obama.

Estes win by 8 points is a decided big-time loss for Dumbocrats They pathologically pumped Estes' opponent, hoping to embarrass Trump.

Obama may be in Tahiti hoping for some executive action after Michelle gets off the water skis....but his fingerprints are all over this.

Obama, Perez and the rest are gonna be eating humble pie.

The Dems actually did about as well as they possibly could have: it’s a majority GOP district (+22, I understand) and Trump carried it by 27 points just 5 months ago.

Trump voters in that district: 165,148. Yesterday: 63,505 (GOP votes)
Clinton voters in that district: 90,518. Yesterday: 55,310 (Dem votes)

60% of Democrats showed up again Tuesday; only 38% of the Repulicans. Remember that.

So complacency was the biggest threat here and Ron Estes won by 7 points. I’m admittedly surprised that the media isn’t crowing about a ‘close loss’ being a ‘warning to Trump’ or some such nonsense like that.

“Star Trek actor Wil Wheaton suggested that people stop donating money to the DCCC.”

More important, are Wil Wheaton and Sheldon still friends?

The one on the right is obviously struggling with something. Safe spaces for Krispy Kremes...

Obviously this won’t be proven out in pre-discussion. We are going to have to wait and see what shakes out. I don’t patently disagree with you, but we differ and I’ll just wait.

My advice is that they practice saying “Socialism Sucks” in front of a mirror, from this day forward, until they drop dead.

Well, I would somewhat disagree. In their safe spaces, such as social media, mainstream media, schools, colleges, and inner cities, they live in enclaves where they live in echo chambers. They lie to themselves everyday.

That’s why it is important to have solid principles on which you stand your ground. They usually stop pestering me after I ask them if they are for women’s rights... yes of course.. Then I ask about women’s health.. yes yes and yes..
Then I ask about a healthy woman who is inside a womb with a beating heart. It’s just entertaining now. Two of their most important issues. Indefensible, but maybe at some point it will make sense to them.

Democrats Flipped Zero Seats in Four Recent Blue State Special Elections

This earlier Democrat slaughter occurred after DNC newbie Perez bragged Democrats would show that their resistance to Trump could be translated into electoral victories.

To add insult to injury, the Minnesota, Connecticut, Virginia Democrat losses are the states Hillary (cough) "won" in the 2016 presidential election.

(cue hysterical laugh machine)

===========================================

2016 election map---Democrats are learning to swim underwater.

==================================================

(HAT TIP DEROY MURDOCK NYPOST 12/26/16)

EXCERPT-----As President Obama concludes his reign of error, his party is smaller, weaker and ricketier than it has been since at least the 1940s. Behold the tremendous power that Democrats have frittered away — from January 2009 through the aftermath of Election Day — thanks to Obama and his ideas:

•Democrats surrendered the White House to political neophyte Donald J. Trump.

•US Senate seats slipped from 55 to 46, down 16 percent.

•US House seats fell from 256 to 194, down 24 percent.

•Democrats ran the Senate and House in 2009. Next year, they will control neither.

•Governorships slid from 28 to 16, down 43 percent.

•State legislatures (both chambers) plunged from 27 to 14, down 48 percent.

•Trifectas (states with Democrat governors and both legislative chambers) cratered from 17 to 6, down 65 percent.

I think you meant this "Chopper, sic balls"

I had to reread that because it was weird as hell at first.

I love the line I heard back in Nov. “The Democrats started lecturing voters and stopped listening to them.” So true. Stop telling me what to do and how to feel and what to accept, instead tell me what you will do for me, and how you will help me improve my life, feed and educate my family.

My WW2 Dad defined success for us Baby-Boomer kids as living better than you did at home. Standard of living. I can say I was a success, but I do not think my kids (21 & 25) will get that chance and will be lucky to break even. They all work 2-3 part time jobs as Obama Care killed full time jobs for this demographic even with college degrees.

Oh, I agree, but the lying they do is almost always aimed at achieving some ideological goal. I honestly don’t think they all believe that - at least the ones that know how to read cursive.

You know, in many respects, the lying by them has worked many times, since they do it everyday. But much of it seems short sighted.
