Do the Russians have the capability to provide missile shielding with the guided missile cruisers?

The Russian ships were visiting Busan, which is far away from the DMZ, the better part of 500 miles. The cruiser’s S-300F Fort and 9K33 Osa SAMs are far too short range for that. The other ship is a tanker.
