Former intelligence specialist group agree with Russian explanation of Syrian Chem Attack
Consortium News ^ | April 11, 2017 | "Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS)"

"Our U.S. Army contacts in the area have told us...There was no Syrian “chemical weapons attack.” Instead, a Syrian aircraft bombed an al-Qaeda-in-Syria ammunition depot that turned out to be full of noxious chemicals and a strong wind blew the chemical-laden cloud over a nearby village where many consequently died.

This is what the Russians and Syrians have been saying and – more important –what they appear to believe happened."

“Trump stated Assad has used gas a number of times in recent months.”

I wonder where the victims, white helmuts and TV cameras were all that time. And if it was going on for months, what took so long to push the Tomahawk button?

Must be much more complicated than that...or it would never be useful in occupied or industrialized areas.

Yes he did...and the rumors at the time was that one of the inspectors in his group was being blatantly blackmailed on child molestation/porn issues.

We don’t hear about every battle in Syria. Never have. Never will.

Savage Radio today said it was Phosgene, not Saran. The only way to tell if it was Saran would be to obtain samples from the actual weapon and flesh samples from the victims. Nobody has done that yet. He also said that if it was Saran, the first responders would be just as dead, as they were totally unprotected.

Made sense. But what do I know.

I appreciate the mention. Up thread you’ll note he was having problems in those areas.

I gave it some thought later, and I remember his saying Hussein had them. The next thing I knew, he was in Baghdad singing another tune.

At the time we all here were wondering what the payoff was.

It was a blatant 180.

He was being a spokesman for Hussein at one point, at least it seemed like it. I never trusted the guy.

Other inspectors were saying they were sure Hussein had WMDs because he wouldn’t cooperate with the inspectors.

I used to listen to Savage, back when his ratio of on meds-to-off meds days was higher.

“We don’t hear about every battle in Syria.”

Yes, but... Trump says CW as used multiple times in recent months. And no victims, no cameras, no heart-tugging images, no hospital reports, no ISIS/rebel/McCain types screaming about it for political gain?

I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it’s certainly improbable.

And if I just wasn’t paying close enough attention to notice those things going on but Trump knew, then what the heck took so long? Are we only obligated to act when Ivanka is upset by videos?

I’m very familiar with the group. They are affiliated with Dan Ellsberg, the guy who helped write, then steal, the Pentagon Papers... and with Lyndon LaRouche.

They are also strongly associated with John Kerry and the late Ted Kennedy.

You’re not obligated to do anything.

If you have a question, fire off an eMail to the White House.

Why would you think that I know what goes on at the White House?

I deal with reality. Perhaps you should try it.

Peter Van Buren in his own words:
“Once upon a time, I worked as a State Department officer, helping to carry out the occupation of Iraq, where Washington’s goal was regime change. It was there that, in a way, I had my first taste of the life of the 1%. Unlike most Iraqis, I had more food and amenities than I could squander, nearly unlimited funds to spend as I wished (as long as the spending supported us one-percenters), and plenty of U.S. Army muscle around to keep the other 99% at bay. However, my subsequent whistleblowing about State Department waste and mismanagement in Iraq ended my 24-year career abroad and, after a two-decade absence, deposited me back in “the homeland.”

They coordinated with former ambassador to Gabon Joe Wilson, who is in turn linked to French intelligence via a former wife, and the late Gabonese leader Omar Bongo, Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Alamoudi of Rock Creek Corp, and Hillary Clinton.
With the latter two the connection is through their dealings with heavy metals mining interests in Africa.

Yes, and Ritter was also a recipient of Saddam Hussein bribe money through a figure called al-Khafaji, as I recall.

I appreciate the mention.

Aha... the film. I do remember that.

He got $400,000.00 from Al-Khafaji.

Folks, be careful about not reading to the bottom. The article is broken up a number of times. Looks like it’s over, but it isn’t.

..................................................
It has been going on for YEARS and it took the election of Trump to push the Tomahawk button. Obama and his good for nothing 57 varieties SoS swore Russia had removed ALL the WMDs.
