Tricky Donald. Hacking the Chinese newspaper and putting this article out essentially saying the Chinese are siding with the US. Pretty clever, he learned it from the Russian hacking of the election, no doubt.

I do not like the concept of beating the drums....not when so much news is deceptive.
I've lost all trust in the media.

People keep talking like South Korea is some unarmed victim nation like Costa Rica or something. Nothing could be further from the truth. They have a very powerful military.Any time is a good time for the collapse of Stalinist dictatorships. Having said that, the timing of this couldn't be worse for ROK, with their political scandal problems. This is when Seoul needs to project strong leadership, and no one is even sure who the leader is going to be.

VANITY, because I get to reference a story about Korea to something cool: My son does Tae Kwon Do and executed a butterfly kick to the head yesterday while sparring. Jump, spin, and whammo! Just beautiful....

The ROK majors and captains I worked with at I Corps had been to Vietnam. You don’t know the half of it. LOL

They haven’t mobilized any 150,000 troops. That does not occur rapidly.

They could not make such a statement and back down without “losing face” a very important concept in the Orient. Obama could do that and, since he was two-faced, could afford to lose one.

I was the G-2 early warning analyst for the DMZ. I know the defenses and DPRK set-up. Yes, of course people will die. That happens in every war.

“Trump probably told Xi over dinner if he doesnt reign in the little fat man the US will be placing nukes in Japan and South Korea...”
Really want to scare the Chicoms? Tell them we’ll give *control* of the nukes to Japan and South Korea.

By all means. Feel free. Conquer North Korea, annex it, and barbecue Kim John Un on a spit over an open flame. We’ll watch.

My first assumption, probably like most everyone else’s, was that China’s deployment of 150,000 troops on their border with NK was that it was a warning to Trump. But a better “warning” would have been for China to deploy troops near the nuke facilities and close to the big fat kid. But then, I reasoned, by massing troops on the border it was just as likely a warning to NK to not pursue more nuclear testing as this article suggests. Clearly Trumps’s meeting with his Chinese counterpart was a success.
