MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) - Multiple sources with knowledge of discussions tell WBRC an agreement has been reached for Gov. Bentley to resign from office, but when he would do it and how remains in discussion.

More to come on this, but it appears that Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey will soon become the 54th Governor of the State of Alabanma.
Good.
I’m sick of seeing his face on my local news......................
Tweet from State Auditor Jim Zeigler:
“Bentley staff meeting 2:30. Cabinet 3 or 3:30. Announcement after” [presumably about Bentley resigning]
Hanging on too long already. Give it up, Bentley. It’s over.
It’s done. Bentley has resigned. Formal announcement imminent.
Dr. Bentley reportedly being fingerprinted now at the Montgomery County jail. Courthouse hearing pending. (@JennWSFA via twitter).
Fingerprinted? Wow.
Yeah, this has escalated quickly.
Hearing this could keep him from prison as they are only misdemeanors. Part of “the deal”.
I would expect so, yes.
Ping
Congratulations Governor Kay Ivey!!
