SEIU only exists to milk the weak and powerless for funds to put corrupt leftists in high office.

I was an unwilling member of SEIU in my previous career. It disgusted me to have to support that vile organization with my union dues.

...not as much, teachers lose their dues but not their vote. SEIU is loaded with immigrants.

After the march the illegals were heard saying, “I went to the protest and all I got was this crummy t-shirt.”

This would have paid off big with a Hillary win. They gambled, they lost.

Gee. I wonder if their pension fund is up to date.

Is anyone surprised?

This is the deal public employee unions made with Democrats. You support us to get more taxpayer money, and we will send some back to you. For the Democrats it is legal bribery.

How under-funded is their pension fund? It is typical of these unions to spend the money on Dem pols and then not put enough money into the pension fund.

"The SEIU has transformed from a labor union into a subsidiary of the Left, spending millions of dues dollars on left-wing causes unrelated to collective bargaining," Berman said. "Instead of fighting for workplace benefits, the union is going behind their members' backs to bankroll Democrats and liberal advocacy groups."

Having been an unwilling union member (not SEIU, but there are many similarities) I observed that the union was a lockstep arm of the Dem party, and then never, ever missed a chance to advance Dems and Dem legislation, and always pottied on anything Republican.

Similarly, the union was not interested in recognizing individual achievement that they did not control or sponsor.

Oh, and other than some brief and tightly formatted member "polls", they were not at all interested in member feedback.

The corruption runs deep in unions. When the families who depend on those pensions run out of food I wonder if the union bosses will feel remorse.

Nahhh....

It’s just socialism. All the flag waving aside, they are just commies screwing the working man for his goods as always.
