Syria’s regime has used sarin nerve gas for the first time since 2013, dropping bombs laden with the chemical agent on Isil fighters outside Damascus, according to a senior Israeli official.
This use of sarin would show that Bashar al-Assad has retained the ability to gas his enemies despite an agreement that supposedly disarmed Syria of its chemical arsenal.
That deal was reached after the regime used sarin and VX gas to kill as many as 1,400 people in rebel-held areas of Damascus on August 21, 2013. President Barack Obama had declared the use of chemical weapons to be a “red line” that would trigger US air strikes. Once Assad agreed to disarm, however, Mr Obama abandoned his plan for military action.
After the agreement to disarm Syria, John Kerry, the US secretary of state, claimed: “We got 100 per cent of the chemical weapons out.”
But the Israeli official said that Assad had concealed a significant proportion of his chemical arsenal. In particular, he kept some of his sarin gas.

It was probably used by the rebels, and the U.S. media lies about it to further their goals.

Looks like some people need to be doing their homework and find out exactly what happened before we commit our young men again.
How would Syria/Russia benefit by using gas at this time????
Has the US done any testing on victims or soil at the site?
What hospitals are these gas victims in? Can we do autopsies?
The Pres needs to put a team on the ground to verify these claims.

More than likely its the rebels. Its not in Assad’s best interest at this point to use chemicals. IMO Trump and Tillerson are being played.
It’s like the “The Russians rigged the election!” claim.
If this were poker and a player refused to show his hand—assuming all trusted him, well, just because he’s a friend and a heck of a guy—and tried to claimed the pot, he would be showed the door.
