A Villanova student claims that shaving her head helped her confront her hair privilege, as well as societys oppressive gender norms.
Im not a big fan of being oppressed, and I dont like it, said Yvonne Nguyen in a Facebook live video where she shaved her head on camera to Beyoncé songs. Since this articles publication, she has taken down the video.

Look at me! Look at me! Look at me! Look at me!
I've always felt oppressed by this musical. I thought it was because I just didn't like hippies, but now I know why.
Or plucked out their eyes to protest sight privilege.................
Me, Me, Me, look at Me

I dunno. Some bald chicks can be pretty hot.
As my mother used to say, “What’s the world coming to?”
I’m waiting for a suicide to protest life. After all, aren’t the living the cause of all these grievances?
I ain't never had me a mannequin.
Not this one. :-(
So someone actually listens to Beyoncé?
That’s crazy!
I shave my head about once every 5-6 weeks, because having no hair to very short hair is much easier and faster to manage that longer hair, and also much cheaper. A bottle of Shampoo lasts more than a year.
As far as chicks who shave their heads, aside from those who do so for medical reasonw, silly libs, dykes, MMA fighters or silly, lib, dyke MMA fighters.
My shaved head is a memorial to the proud remains of a once great society of hair.
“Im waiting for a suicide to protest life. After all, arent the living the cause of all these grievances?”

I was just thinking the same thing.
We don’t want to be life-ist, now do we? *rolls eyes*
The only way I’m dating a bald chick is if she wears wigs or is an alien. Which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the protest.
And if she wears wigs, can she change them up frequently and wear wild colors some times? Like X-men’s Mystique, who could be the perfect girlfriend. At least until a month into the relationship when she complains, “Why don’t you ever like me for my blue scaley self?” And then it’s over.
Villanova, you’ve changed.
This would be par for the course at Haverford or Bryn Mawr, closer into town on the Main Line, but I would expect more from Villanova.

You were ahead of your time, FRiend. ;)
(btw, great songs in that musical). :)
Perhaps she should drill a hole in her forehead to protest “Intact Skull Privilege”
