Flashback (Last Week): McCain and Graham: Trump will regret letting Bashar al-Assad off the hook
Washington Examiner ^ | Staff

Posted on 04/06/2017 6:10:37 AM PDT by nhwingut

Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham are upset with the Trump administration signaling that removing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad from power is no longer a top priority.

During a trip to Turkey, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Assad's fate will be decided by the Syrian people. That sentiment was echoed by U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, who told reporters, "You pick and choose your battles. And when we're looking at this it's about changing up priorities and our priority is no longer to sit and focus on getting Assad out."

If McDork wants it, walk away.

Die, McDork, die.

Not tomorrow, not next week, now. Die, die, die.

DIE.

When was it ever a top priority?

How many Middle East dictators have we helped remove from power in the last 14 years and how has that worked out?

Sure seems like a false flag.

War crimes WERE committed.

The question is, "By whom?"

So the conclusion that Assad was behind the gas attack is based on
a) the same US intelligence community that refuses to cooperate with the congressional investigations of Wiretapgate;
b) claims by the anti-Assad rebels;
c) claims by the Turks (deathly opposed to Assad);
d) claims by various Europeans; and
e) US Neocon war party types like John Bolton.

Perhaps, Assad is guilty. Or perhaps President Trump is being manipulated.

Either way, President Trump was elected to crush ISIS and was not elected to sort out Syria’s internal problems beyond that.

I watched Blackhawk Down again last night.

I’d like to just build a wall around these muslim nations and the survivors of the power struggle can call us when it’s all over.

Great point. President Trump, imho, will come to regret if he got us into war over Syria. And no, Assad NEVER was a TOP PRIORITY.

"Sure seems like a false flag."

If it's even chemical weapons, it probably is.

Look at the "first responders" in those photos. They don't even have on a pair of rubber gloves meaning if it's Sarin, there would be dead first responders lying there with the other corpses in short order.
