The GOP needs to let them Filibuster. No need to do anything to stop the Dems from looking bad.
All the GOP has to do is show up at every camera and say:

ANY DELAY By FILIBUSTERING AT THIS POINT IS SIMPLY DELIBERATE ATTEMPTS TO HURT THE PRESIDENT AND THE JUDICIAL CONFIRMATION PROCESS.
