He should apply for housing in East Palo Alto. See if he changes his opinion.

That phrase was probably drilled into his head in high school and is likely all he knows. You could have asked him if it was daylight or dark outside and gotten the same answer.

...and Stanford’s acceptance rate is less than 5%...interesting way to gain entrance to this major university.

There’s more to this story.

His cover photo on Twitter has his whole family with Obama.

His profile pic is just him and Hillary.

My friend’s average niece applied to several “reach” schools and wrote an essay about how difficult it was being discriminated against because she is LGBTQ. Except she is straight.

She got accepted to every school she applied to.

Back in the 90s when I went to school and worked there east Palo Alto was all blacks and not safe. Some of my friends were buying homes there so it has probably changed alot in the last 20 years.

Yet, an applicant who did the same with #AmericaFirst would never ever be admitted in the current biased libtard environment.

What part of the concept of writing an “essay” is a college applicant incapable of understanding, and why should a (supposedly prestigious) college reward him with admission for failing to write a required essay????

At least employers know which resumes to pitch in the trash.

Just look for the Stanford label!

“The Ivies are quickly becoming jokes now.”

While your statement is 100% accurate, Stanford is not an Ivy League school.

Back in 1971 when I applied to Stanford, an application question read: “If you were asked to write a book, describe the book you would write.”

I doubt if the #blacklivesmatter repetition would cut it. No, I wasn’t accepted but four of my classmates were, including the future wife of Thomas Friedman.

Yes and no:

The Ivy League is a collegiate athletic conference comprising sports teams from eight private institutions of higher education in the Northeastern United States. The conference name is also commonly used to refer to those eight schools as a group beyond the sports context.[2] The eight institutions are Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Yale University. The term Ivy League has connotations of academic excellence, selectivity in admissions, and social elitism.

While the term was in use as early as 1933, it only became official after the formation of the NCAA Division I athletic conference in 1954.[3] Seven of the eight schools were founded during the United States colonial period. Cornell was founded in 1865. Ivy League institutions account for seven of the nine Colonial Colleges chartered before the American Revolution; the other two are Rutgers University and College of William & Mary.
