A secret police force is fine with lefties as long as the force obeys the rules and only arrests ‘Enemies of the State,’ which by definition excludes all lefties - until it doesn’t.

I don’t believe the left thinks like I do, but generally on matters like this there has been some bi-partisan agreement. Just about every organ of the left remains in full defensive mode.
