Sessions’ recusal applies to the Russian fiction. He hasn’t recused himself from felonies committed by the former administration. Nunes said what he viewed had nothing to do with the Russian investigation.

Let's stop the bullshit posts about Sessions "succumbing to media pressure" by recusing himself -- and fast.

The news about Trump and/or his team likely being subject to surveillance even before he was nominated confirms my initial suspicion about Sessions' motives in recusing himself. He knew he could not be involved in an investigation of a matter where he was likely a victim and/or a witness himself.
