McDonalds clearly has 4 kiosks to replace predominantly female counter cashiers.
Walmart has 1 cashier running 8 manual scanners.
Algorilla has AGW err Climate Change now Bush has robots. Both of them are equally loony things for which to proclaim Doomsday. The Club of Rome and the Luddittes what a pair.
Not all jobs will get automated due to human demands.

We are going to pay the price for this in mental illness, as lonely people whose only human contact is with their merchants and service people find themselves without even that. No bus driver, no barista, no people in the post office or the police station or the restaurant. Ghost town. They will end up in a hospital, where there are no nurses and no doctors.
