“A SPARE $1,000?”
Damn! When I was 17 and out of high school knocking pipe on a drilling rig I was lucky to have a “spare $50.00.” However, I kept myself and wife in a decent place to live and we bought groceries and paid utilities. If we had a little bit left over we would “splurge” and go out and eat a hamburger.
It taught me a very valuable lesson in life “work comes before play.” You might tell your sons they need to lower their level of entertainment and lifestyle until they can afford it. Boy...OH...Boy! How the perception of an adult has changed today. I would be embarrassed to tell others that my little “snowflakes” were too delicate to take any job that pays enough to live on. Oh, I forgot...they are waiting to go to college. How much does that cost?????? I’ll bet they won’t be working their way through college either.
You are too hostile and insulting to my family, of which you know NOTHING, to deserve a response.
