Okay, I’m confused. The actress is playing a character named Bill Pott. Is she playing a gay man, or a lesbian with a man’s name? Is the actress gay? Is The Doctor gay? Was it assumed that the Doctor was doing his female companions? If not, what the companion does for fun shouldn’t matter unless he’s going to be dragging gay aliens aboard the Tardis. Of course if “he” is a real screamer that would be annoying regardless of anything else.
Lesbian with a man's name. (they could have least changed her name to "Billie" so it sounded female) Ugly girl, too. The character already sounded terrible before they announced she would be "gay". I'm thinking of sitting out this season. Shame, Peter Capadi made a very interesting Doctor, but he deserves better writing than the cr@p they've currently giving him.
