Their coverage will coagulate around that objective, and they will dig deep to find something - anything - to bring against Trump and his associates and his family. And, if they fail to find anything, their goal is to create an ATMOSPHERE OF SCANDAL around Trump, even if no actionable wrongdoing is ever found.

Notice how quickly they dropped the ‘Trump is incompetent,’ chorus. Someone clued them in that it was incompatible with their ‘Trump is Hitler,’ mantra.

As each accusation comes and goes, they carry less weight. The MSM is primarily undermining their own credibility (with the ever-shrinking audience that hasn’t already ditched them).
