How them kids doing dick?
Federal tax money is not for such things. Let this be handled at the state level. Dick.
So? The nation is broke. Gotta stop spending.
Maybe Chicago should pay for their kids.
How many of those kids are illegal aliens?
Two GREAT posts.
Chicago’s kids, Chicago’s problem.
This is Washington’s problem because...?
“It takes a village.”
“Free Lunch” the most evil lie you can teach a kid while you make him pay for it with crippling debt and lost opportunities for the rest of his life.
Don’t really want to be a ‘wet blanket’ but aren’t these the same people who scream ‘FU DT, we don’t need your stinkin’ money’ in regards to the Sanctuary City BS
Few weeks ago a DC ‘official’ cavalierly stated that the Fed gave around a Billion(??) to DC annually BUT they would find a way around it.
Not bad for a crew that wants ‘Fed bucks’ to give the homeless/indigent IDs so interlopers can’t stay at District Shelters.
Guess voting issue didn’t come up.
WE need a ‘fact checker’ so that every time these idjits come out with a profound statement, someone go back a couple of days/weeks/months whatever and dig up the EXACT OPPOSITE of what they just said....
How is taking tax money (or borrowing money we don’t have) from tax paying Americans to pay for Chicago after school programs a legitimate federal expenditure?
How many noncitizens in the Chicago Public Schools?
Chuck Ficago and Turbin.
Great!
Great!
We didn’t need “after school programs” when I was growing up. The kids went home, connected with their friends and came up with their own “after school programs”.
These after school programs are “free dinner” programs. These kids are getting 3 FREE meals a day plus mommy and daddy (daddies) are collecting welfare etc etc
How about Chicago pay for Chicago kids’ after school programs? Instead of all the crap and graft they normally waste taxpayer money on.
