Freedom Caucus leader Justin Amash called on Trump to withdraw from the presidential race last October and then refused to vote for him. Has he apologized yet?
From what I have read Amash is not listed as the leader of the Freedom Caucus—I looked—unless you have articles claiming him as the leader, stop stating him as such.
No, Amash did not vote for Trump and he has not been a supporter. I have never been a fan of Amash and have not appreciated his tweets against Trump.
Actually, if you do a Google search, Mark Meadows is considered the leader...and he is on record supporting Trump as GOP nominee on May 11, 2016. Trump actually mentioned Meadows in tweets regarding healthcare, so it would seem that if there is a leader, Meadows is that person.
Just in case you were unaware,through more research...over half of the Freedom Caucus went on the record endorsing/supporting and voting for Trump.
