There are a lot of great places to live in the US. I like our location very much, ocean view. However, I am unable to turn off all the madness.
I do miss the ocean. Instead of a the 1 hour drive it used to be for us, it is now a 6 hour drive and we need to spend the night. Ok with me! Always enjoy our frequent visits. And here, our property taxes are half what they were in CA. I commuted through the SFV for 20 years.....and I HATED the traffic and yes, we do get into traffic whenever we visit. I find I am much more relaxed these days. Good in my older age.
