“Snowflake”? I responded politely, simply, and cogently, pointing out a means by which the husband himself could feed his wife without the food getting cold — and without the need for embarrassingly conspicuous do-goodery. I expected that some other persons too would wonder why they didn’t do that.
Instead I was asked, “WTF’s the matter with you? Haven’t you realized by now that there are certain events in our lives that don’t need to be ‘understood’?”, and it was suggested that I not “...get to analytical on these things”.
Inserting an insult like “snowflake” into your response isn’t going to make me give up using common sense and descend to the level of thoughtless insults.
