But, he can’t testify. He can however issue a Subpoena To the authorized person having the information and get it into evidence
The reports I’ve seen indicate that the information comes from Obama-era daily intelligence briefings. I imagine it’s a bit complex to get them introduced to a Congressional committee. I wouldn’t be surprised if all these theatrics are now aimed at shutting the whole investigation down completely.
