Amid Democratic opposition, Republican leaders are retreating from President Donald Trump’s very popular campaign promise to build a border fence to block illegal immigration, drug smugglers, and criminals.
A top GOP leader, Sen. Roy Blunt, told reporters on Tuesday that GOP leaders do not want to include Trump’s spending for the border wall in the spring budget, which is due by April 28. “All of the committees, the leaderships of the House and Senate, are working together to try to finalize the rest of the FY17 [budget spending] bill,” he added. “My guess is that comes together better without the [border] supplemental,” he told The Hill.
Top Democrats are hoping to wreck Trump’s presidency by blocking any funding for his key campaign promise. “The wall is a poison-pill rider,” Schumer said in an interview with Politico. “They’ll do it at their peril.”

All the POTUS has to do is ask his supporters to donate $100.00 Bucks each and that wall will be built privately with OUR MONEY!! Go to the ranchers in AZ. and Texas make a deal for leasing their land for the wall and the damned wall will be DONE!!!

But his team needs to call up these RINOs now and get them in line. The GOP clowns in Congress shouldn’t even dare to be talking to the media about “no money for a wall” , they should already know that such a budget would be DOA in the Oval Office.
Where is Trump’s team? What’s Pence doing?
If there is no wall well underway before 2018, it will be far far worse than Bush Senior’s “Read my lips”. Adios Congress. Adios second Trump term.

It is his modt repeated and most quited promise.
This is a direct attack in him or he has turned into a swsmp creature.

I do believe you would be in a small minority around here thinking like that.
I think the country’s biggest threat is immigration; both legal and illegal. The next biggest threat is the dem party working against the American people and trying to organize people of color to fight white Americans. I consider the dem party to be domestic terrorists.
We can’t fight the second biggest enemy until we secure our borders once and for all with a wall, technology, and boots on the ground. The second way we secure it is to make sure there’s no reason to come here, ie no jobs and no freebies. None. Well a bottle of water would be okay I guess. Getting rid of the anchor baby loophole which was never designed for illegals to become citizens simply by plopping a runt on the pavement here. That is probably sandwiched between the first and second most important things we need to do. All illegals must leave. Period.
We don’t have plenty of time. That’s a big mistake to think like that. We are in a highly urgent situation needing to be addressed firmly and with conviction. Play time is over.
The GOP will fall like a house of cards when the nation goes for a third party. It is happening and the GOP will rue the day they thought they could ignore the will of he people.
It’s too sickening to think about.
How we let characters that should have been meeting once a week four times a year become our masters.

Who needs democrat approval? Republicans control both Houses of Congress and the presidency. USE IT!
