On the same day that the House of Representatives canceled its vote on Ryancare, Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks filed a simple one-line bill to repeal Obamas signature health care law.
The Huntsville Republican titled the bill Obamacare Repeal Act. It is short and to the point, AI.com reported.
Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted, the bill reads.
Brooks, a member of the House Freedom Caucus, told constituents last week that he was a no vote on the Obamacare repeal/replace bill offered by Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.
Also last week, in an interview with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow, Brooks called the Speakers bill a horrible replacement bill.

because Rino’s knew they where safe passing it then. that it would die on Obama’s desk.
that safety is gone now, thus... they won’t vote for it.
I also have my original organs and joints. What is my $700 going for. They take it out of mY S.S.
No there won't.
America operated for 234 years without it, and can again.

“... Medicare is charging me $700 a month ...”

Is that for your “Pert B”?
bttt
S.S. Mailed me a letter saying they raised my monthly premium for my Medicare because of how much money I made in 2014, the last year I worked. The LAST YEAR I WORKED WAS 1978.
Someone may have stolen your ID and reported income using your SS# in 2014.
Do this and the Republicans will dominate the mid terms.
Do this and kill of progressive budget babies that they’ve been promising for years to kill off, like both NEAs, and that dominance, barring a depression, may last far longer.
It won’t take many trophies to wow voters who’ve got such low expectations that simply sucking less is all many hope for.
And where does President Trump stand on this particular bill?
YES!
Less is Mo.
That was very, very good!
Yes right on. I love it when politicians pass legislation or cast votes knowing it will never become law.
I think the amount you pay for Obamacare is dependent upon what your income is.
The thing is, your “income” for this calculation, includes money you are living on, which you withdraw from a retirement account which is pre-tax. So you pay full price for your Obamacare coverage, even if you do not earn a dime. You are paying for the program full, because you are living off retirement funds you had socked away, and are using now.
That is a big problem. I think that should be the very first change. You should pay for Obamacare if you want it, but you should not pay full price for it, if you are not working.
Big problem that, right now.
Big.
Trump, or someone close to Trump, if you read this, this in my view is the problem.
Do not charge people who are not working, full price for Obamacare.
I think your “freedom” brigade would not be fighting you on this issue.
Everyone is being scammed at the moment.

That’s the first thing I thought of.
