Environmental activists vowed over the weekend to fight the Keystone XL oil pipeline to the bitter end, insisting the Trump administration’s approval of the long-delayed project will not be the final word.

Powerful green groups are launching a two-pronged strategy to block the pipeline in the streets and in the courts. First, they intend to use a state review process in Nebraska — where Keystone still does not have a legal route, despite federal approval of the project — to delay any movement forward.

Nebraska state officials charged with approving the pipeline’s path say a decision shouldn’t be expected until September at the earliest, and environmentalists could drag that process out even longer.

The second piece of their plan centers on the kind of guerrilla warfare tactics seen throughout last year during the fight over the Dakota Access pipeline.

Activists say they’ll organize protests and even set up camps along Keystone’s proposed route, potentially blocking construction of the project if and when it’s set to begin.

I believe they are funded by OPEC. Certainly the money is laundered so the connection isn't easy to prove, but their money comes from OPEC and Soros, enemies of American strength and American independence.

They said the Alaska pipeline would be a disaster. It hasn’t been.
I understand contrary to all the gloom and doom BS from the tree huggers the population of deer and caribu in Alaska is at very healthy levels, maybe even an overabundance, thanks in part to the pipeline. The warmth generated from the pipeline attracts them and stimulates them to, shall we say "continue the bloodline".

If the Green movement is going to start blowing things up, they just need to remember that it could end up working both ways. I think there are a lot of conservatives who would come after them.

There was already an attempted sabotage attempt on pipeline equipment in South Dakota. South Dakota is not only a red state, but a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights. Protesters should think twice before entering on private lands to do their sabotage.
