Curiously — and after bragging through Eric Holder that Obama is reentering politics in a big way — Obama seems to be in French Polynesia, a non extradition-country, for a whole month (or more).
French Polynesia is not a country, it's a French overseas territory. It may have a local legislature, but foreign relations, defense, and law enforcement and judiciary are administered from Paris. And France does have an extradition treaty with the U.S.
