If you want to get rid of crimes like this, you need to address immigration from third-world hellholes, drug trafficking, human trafficking, prostitution, pornography, adult entertainment, Satanism, various religious cults, and literally EVERYTHING tainted by liberalism.
That includes academia, legislature, law enforcement and intelligence, corporate board rooms and business unions, political organizations, religious institutions, the judiciary, entertainment, news media, charities, foundations, and criminal enterprises. Everywhere you find liberalism, you will find crimes like this. This corruption is gangrene and needs to be amputated from the body politic.
Expelling Islam from civil society would be progress. But if these other issues are not addressed, civilization will continue on its downward spiral. And teenage girls will still be exploited and abused.
BTW, the term “grooming” has not been in use for very long. It’s a politicized word that comes out of feminism. The idea is to associate anything resembling patriarchy as being abusive to women, especially young women. If you asked a feminist, they would tell you that Joseph and the patriarchal and religious culture of his time “groomed” Mary to be his underaged bride.
Crimes like what this man did are egregious even when done to adult women. Obviously it is exponentially worse as the age of its victims diminishes. It is not merely “grooming” a girl to accept and normalize being abused. It IS abuse. How abusers get away with it is less important than the fact they are abusers.
In a way, the anti-Christian elements of our culture “groom” all young girls to accept being mistreated sexually. Role models at Disney become promoters of sexual deviancy like Miley Cyrus.
