here’s what i think:

The enemedia and RINO NeverTrump articles about this so-called “failure” are all delusional, and the best part is that they actually believe their own delusions.

I heard President Trump say a few weeks ago that his administration wouldn’t be addressing obamacare repeal and replace until late 2017 to early 2018 (basically when obamacare would be facing complete collapse), so I can’t wait to watch these fools freak the F out when his administration introduces a REAL repeal and replace bill 9 months from now.

As far as President Trump was concerned, RyanCare was nothing but a red herring intended to take Paul Ryan out of all future equations about everything.

RyanCare was a real abortion of a bill, written by the insurance companies who were the only ones who were going to benefit from its passage. The insurance companies clearly had this bill already in hand, and I feel certain had cut a deal with Paul Ryan BEFORE the election, fully expecting HILLARY CLINTON to be President, but believing that some Pub House votes would be needed to get the bill through the House.

RyanCare was actually SUPPOSED to have been HillaryCare, which was why the original RyanCare bill preserved 99.9% of obamacare, and it supposed to have been Hillary’s gift to the insurance companies, while simultaneously shafting Trump’s voters, who are the people who would have suffered the worse under HillaryCare/RyanCare, with even higher premiums than we pay now.

Ryan went ahead with HillaryCare anyway, thinking he could bulldoze the House into screwing their own constituencies even worse than happened with obamacare. If this had passed, Ryan also knew that it would totally sink Trump’s ship before four years was out, which was another major goal of Ryan’s, namely, to try to destroy President Trump before 2020.

The Conservative Caucus saved Trump’s bacon whether he knows it or not.

whatever happens from now on is the responsibility of the GOP. As it damn well should be

I want to argue with that...but I can't.

"You wrote a full repeal Bill in 2015 so you have one gathering dust. Blow the dust off and get Eric done!"

The repeal bill in 2015 was for show. There was no replacement to take Obamacare's place in that repeal. The Republicans knew it was dead on arrival because Zer0 had his veto pen. It was a calculated plan to make the electorate think the Republicans were doing something. They knew that Hillary would take the presidency and if they worked on a replacement bill, it would be wasted effort. Hillary would have the veto pen too. The Republican's repeal bill was for show and Zer0 laughed when he vetoed it. It was a con job of the American voter and a waste of ink.

He said he wants repeal and replace. He wants to keep kids on their parents plan, and no pre existing conditions, in other words, not full repeal.

Tidbits:

1) In Dec 2015 the Senate passed a bill through the Reconciliation process 51-whatever to “repeal Obamacare”. Well, guess what. If you read the relevant articles you’ll see that’s the headline, but the text of the articles say “repeal many of the features of Obamacare” and I went and found the bill. It read pretty much like Ryan’s. Because it had to go through Reconciliation. So all the talk you hear about full repeal was already passed through the Senate . . . didn’t happen. Those weren’t full repeal. They were parts only. A lot of right wing propaganda koolaid is being drank.

2) In a few weeks it will be necessary to pass a Continuing Resolution to keep the gov’t going. The budget arrived at by both Houses won’t survive filibuster. So as usual, a CR will have to be passed. CRs mean continue with the present budget. They will get no Dem votes because nothing from Trump will get Dem votes. And so the Freedom Caucus will have to support the CR or Social Sec checks won’t go out. Well, guess what else has to be in the CR, Obamacare’s funding for illegals.

3) I could talk about the debt ceiling, but blah blah

Thanks for the link. That was quite a contentious thread. I can imagine is Zer0 did NOT veto the 2015 repeal bill. The Republicans would have been left with their pant down. I wonder if the ACA was set up to fail so the Republicans could say, “We tried!” To me it was like building an airplane without the landing gear. It had a big flashing sign saying “Some parts missing.” It was healthcare that would have crashed and burned because it did not have an answer to the question of rising costs. I don’t have an answer but they should have consulted smarter minds than mine for that answer.

Republicans ran on repeal. Voters won’t be happy if Republicans allow ObamaCare to skyrocket costs.

Pure repeal may not be realistic. The beast was built to be repeal proof. It has so many tentacles burrowed so deeply into every imaginable aspect of our lives. I suspect it has to be repealed in pieces. You take out one part and you’ll find another that just collapsed.

This whole argument stems from the belief that the Insurance companies know nothing about business and markets. The reality is that they have maneuvered the debate over decades to make themselves a comprehensive monopoly.

If the whole thing were to collapse tomorrow, you can bet your bottom dollar they will already have a plan in hand to deliver the market still to their door, with or without the government being their marketing department.

The ugly truth is the whole medical delivery costs are based off one thing and one thing only, the Medicare Billing Codes that Congress sets through legislation lobbied by whom? Figure it out.

The Dems are laughing now about this, but guess what? They still own Obamacare. As it falls apart, they are still on the hook to be blamed and perhaps a year from now we’ll get a better bill. I’m willing to wait rather than a half baked attempt that doesn’t solve the problem.

The Republicans own it now. When Obamacare collapses, which it will, everyone will be pointing to the Republicans saying, "Why didn't you do something to prevent it?" And had they passed Trumpcare then a couple of years down the road when it collapsed people would be asking the same thing

Trump is moving on to other important issues.

Hopefully without the same results as health care.

Have you looked over his “better way” on tax Reform? That’s on his better way site too.
