Hmmm...catholic church calling companies wanting to supply materials to build the wall traitors. That means, the catholic church in Mexico sees the immigrants here as loyal subjects of the catholic church in mexico and/or here and as such, want them to help them control the land here through political process.

That is a very dangerous thought. Either, we deport them and cause the catholic church to lose much of its control here, OR, we let them stay and seal political control by the catholic church of the land where these people live. Now, THAT should stir some debate now and in the future. If not, people are plain stupid and will get what they deserve.

Wanting to insert your people into a place in order to control the place against the wishes of the people there is an act of war. As a matter of fact, that is what immigrants from the United States did to Mexico by illegally immigrating into Texas and then taking over. We are going to need truckloads of popcorn for this one.

“that is what immigrants from the United States did to Mexico by illegally immigrating into Texas and then taking over.”

Woah, woah, woah. Where did that story come from?

The government of Mexico appointed Stephen F. Austin the Empresario of Texas and empowered him to sell or give land to foreign men. This he did. No illegal immigration was involved.

The Mexicans did this because they were afraid of the Comanche, who treated them like sheep to be sheared and slaughtered. They hoped the Comanche would sate themselves on the new Texicans and leave them alone.
