Texas Republican Congressman Ted Poe has announced he is giving up membership in Hillary’s Favorite Caucus over their unwillingness to support President Trump:
“I have resigned from the House Freedom Caucus,” Poe said in a statement. “In order to deliver on the conservative agenda we have promised the American people for eight years, we must come together to find solutions to move this country forward. Saying no is easy, leading is hard, but that is what we were elected to do.
Leaving this caucus will allow me to be a more effective Member of Congress and advocate for the people of Texas. It is time to lead.” “Some only want to be the party of ‘no’ & would’ve voted against the 10 commandments,”

When it counted, the ‘Freedom’ caucus stood with Paul Ryan. TWICE. To nominate & re-nominate an avowed neverTrumper and Obama fluffer. Ryan’s agenda was CLEAR.

We know that what you just posted is true precisely because there have been no FC calls for Ryan’s ouster. Either they have principles or they don’t. Either they lead or they don’t. Right now conservative principles say Ryan is the problem. Leadership says to spearhead the effort to remove him.
Just as soon as the FC starts leading the charge for a more conservative Speaker, I’ll be their biggest cheerleader.

It’s as if everyone was playing their role in the Kabuki theater. Ryan gets to say he tried. The FC gets to say they took a stand. Meanwhile, we the people get the crud-sandwich status quo.
Nothing will change till Ryan’s out. The silence of the FC calls for his ouster are deafening.
So was Ted Cruz for most of the campaign, until Foam Party Boy forced him to take a stand during one of the debates and he literally contradicted and lied about statements he had made just a few weeks prior.
Folks, you need to understand that there are literally only a small number of actual conservatives. The rest are free traders, amnesty pimps, and other assorted freaks.
