“How exactly has the “freedom caucus” given us limited government? Do tell.

They certainly have given the Dems a victory, POTUS a black eye and put his entire agenda at risk. How principled and conservative of them.

Well, what are you saying? Do you want limited government, or not? The only hope you have is to get behind guys like those in the FC and try to swell their numbers. Throwing in with those who accept the premise of big-government, centrally managed solutions will not get you there.

“It is sad to see people publicly admit their stupidity/idiocy.”

It’s sad to see people publicly admit they have no respect for other people because they aren’t as informed as you are.

“Jim Jorden (Freedom Caucus) DID file this bill. RINOs did not allow it out of committee.”

Then why aren’t they on ALL the networks EVERY DAY pushing it? Did Mr Jordan present it to President Trump? Where’s the picture of Mr Jordan handing President Trump a copy of his bill? If the Freedom Caucus can’t get their own bill out of committee what are they accomplishing for the country?

No reason at all to turn the TV on this morning.

Agree with that Bump.

In fact, I've been agreeing with that since 2008.

My point is that the GOP let Trump down by failing to reach a consensus on policy. We can point fingers on who to blame or argue about substance, but the real issue is the failure of the GOP to come together behind a consensus bill.

I agree, and said as much in another post.

We know that the GOPe and many conservatives hate Trump.

Yes, but their constituents don't. Many of the so-called GOP are not Republicans at all. We have such a RINO, Senator Suzy! (and maybe Bruce Parlor-queen)

Pressure must be brought to bear.

Now they are undermining Trump to ensure he is a one term President.

That needs to play out. There is much afoot behind the scenes in both camps (Congress and Admin) If the antagonists win, the people (and Republicans) will lose.

Fox News Sunday panel. He had heard enough of bashing Nunce and their feigned outrage and let them have it. What if Trump was right and he was being hacked?

Of course Repubs always have to reach across the aisle even if Dems never do.

I don't think its over yet for zero care but Trump is most likely a master of timing since he does sense the art of the Deal.

If zero care implodes and he tries to deal with the dems and they refuse I'm sure he will do what has to be done.

The Dems and the MSM, their propaganda wing, will bombard the public daily with sob stories about those who lost coverage and the hardships that resulted.

It needs to be combated with truth. The only reason they lost their "Medical Welfare" coverage is because they didn't want to pay for it.

The disaster is all those millions and millions paying for and happy with their coverage and who lost it under Obamacare.

Had you listened to the show, you too would have heard Jim's comment about his bill

In addition you should be circumspect about casting aspersions especially if you are not well informed

He even dared to compare how zero got the bill through in record time

Todd's either a complete moron or a liar. I'll settle on BOTH.

It took FIFTEEN months of arm twisting to get Obamacare ,and that included bribing a bunch of senators like Dumb Ben Nelson in Nebraska and Chubby Mary Landrieu in Louisiana.

If y'all remember, the vote used the reconciliation process to arm twist the bill thru during Christmas vacation, and later Slow Joe Biden called it a Big F'n Deal (Stand up, Joe! There's a class act!)

Did Mulvaney point this out, or did he even have a chance to?

Correct. When Republicans "cross the aisle" it is very awkward since that stroll requires to walk while grabbing the ankles.

"Compromise" means (and Chuck Schumer proves this on a daily basis) Republicans must abandon all conservative principles and plans and agree with leftist governance, which many Republicans seem happy to do.

Thank you Mr Schumer for letting me know what I should or should not be doing.

Yeah for sure.
Without the F.Chucks and the Stephys, all of cnn and msnbc they would probably implode once and for all.
Take the Russian con for instance. Without the Mark Warners and other DNC operatives lying their asses off the real truth would sink their sorry butts.
Below is a post I made earlier over at Clarice’s thread on American Thinker.

..........................
The Chicago regime is famous for placing blame for their misdeeds on others like say....President/comrade Donald Trump.
That’s what has happened here.
Who was it that said to tell Vlad he would be more flexible after the election, who met with the Russian ambassador 22 times and what famous Rence piece shows that Ozero has been trained from childhood to become the Russian mole he is?
It wasn’t CIA’s Brennan or the NSA’s Clapper they were too busy breaking into Trump headquarters using The super computer “The Hammer.”
It was the Chicago regime and they are the ones that created the DNC chatting point “Trump is in love with the Russians” now you drivebys go get him and they did. They won’t stop until Podesta and his brother are through getting sanctions removed from the Russian govt. that hired them for 60K per month.
Look over there don’t look here, meanwhile Podesta remains real quiet.

Exactly. And checker playing conservatives on Main Street who support the beltway kabuki from the “freedom caucus” can’t see the forest through the trees.

Obamacare is broken and there will be growing public pressure to get it fixed, not repealed. If the governing party, the GOP, does not get it fixed, they will be blamed for the failure of Obamacare.

Concur, there will be Democrat votes next time to compensate for the Republican obstructionists who could not make a deal. The loaf just got smaller. Republicans will say we repealed and replaced Obamacare. Democrats will say we retained and improved Obamacare. Each side will get something it wanted. Neither side will get everything. A bipartisan bill will endure. It will be less conservative than a Republican bill, how much so depends on the polling going into the 2018 midterms, or the results of that election.

“Just repealing it and returning to what we had in 2008 would be 1,000% better than socialist ObozoCare/RyanCare/UniPartyCare.

Exactly that's where we should be starting.!!
