New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Friday cast doubt on the notion that the Obama administration spied on associates of President Trump, saying there is no evidence to support the claim and that such surveillance would be difficult to authorize.
"There certainly doesn't seem to be any evidence of that at this point," Christie said during an appearance on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight."

It is difficult to authorize. However, authorization was definitely sought.
I should know whether it was obtained, and if obtained, acted upon, but I don’t.
I’ll laugh if info comes out from the whistleblower’s records, showing Christie’s communications were wiretapped, surveilled, etc., too.

“I know from having spent seven years as a U.S. attorney that the FISA court and the way that works and foreign intelligence surveillance activities - it is very, very difficult to get that type of activity going,” he said. “You have to go and convince an independent judge.”
“So I don’t see any evidence of that at this point in time. We’ll continue to listen, but I can tell you from my experience that kind of stuff is very difficult to get.”
Christy is looking at it from the view of an honest lawyer.
If you do not have a warrant and probable cause, the judge will throw your evidence out of court.
So Christy is thinking like a prosecutor preparing for court.
Where he is off course is that obummer has no regard for the law, for the Constitution nor for simple plain ethics.
He had no intention of trying a case, only to find ways to stab Trump in the back, only something to smear him with.
Do not forget that this is only one instance in which obummer has violated the law.
Christy is looking at this from the angle of what he would do. He is not looking at it from the view of a criminal.
Why would anyone have Chris Christie on their TV show to talk about that subject? He would have ZERO knowledge on that subject.

So that tells me, like I felt when I first read the article, that Christy wouldn’t look at something like a criminal would look at things, like libs, and the Clintons, Podestas, Bidens, etc...

He was on for a completely unrelated topic -— the Joanne Chesimard story and New Jersey’s decades-long attempt to get her back from Cuba after her prison escape.
The fat man was never in Trump's camp. Ever since that magical moment he gave that hummer to homobama on the beach, he's been one of hillary's corrupt fellow travelers.
Not you, but I am surprised that most of the talking heads ignore the fact that Nunes said that he has seen communications between various Trump people that had been gathered by the dark government.
So those who deny that conversations were taped had better be careful until that is disproven.
