Describing it as in Liverpool is pushing it a bit for an event in Port Sunlight across the river, in the posh part of what used to be Cheshire before it became Merseyside.

It's not on the Liverpool side of the river that is in the ferry songs...:^)

It was about 2 miles from Liverpool city center and I doubt if they really heard it there. It's also an unlikely place for a terrorist attack. now picking the refineries at Ellsemere Port three miles south might make sense.
